The Supreme Hydro-Mag is Danner's magnetic-drive recirculating pump — the same proven mag-drive platform as the Pondmaster Pond-Mag, in the Supreme trim that adds an adjustable venturi aerator on most sizes. Run it submerged or inline, in a pond, quarantine system, water feature or hydroponic setup.
Oil-free and fish-safe. The power unit is epoxy-encased, so there is no oil to leak into the water — the reason mag-drive pumps are the default choice around livestock. Backed by Danner's 5-year limited warranty.
Match the pump to the flow you need at your head height — the vertical distance from the pump to the highest outlet. Flow falls as head rises, so buy the max-head column, not just the GPH in the name.

This Hydro-Mag and our Pondmaster Mag-Drive share the same pump platform. The practical differences: the Hydro-Mag has a 10-ft cord and the venturi aerator; the Pond-Mag has an 18-ft cord and no venturi. For a pump sitting in a pond far from the outlet, the longer cord often decides it. For a quarantine tub, sump or hydroponic reservoir where extra aeration helps, the venturi decides it the other way.
ChampKoi has run ponds and quarantine systems from our San Jose, California facility since 1998. Tell us your head height and tubing size and we'll size the pump properly — the most common pump mistake we see is buying the GPH number and ignoring the head curve.

Love this place and the staff! Fish are amazing, all sizes and prices. Fish healthy and water clear. Everything we have purchased from here has been free of any health issues and is doing well in our ponds. There is a fish for all price ranges as well and some uncommon goldfish. Staff knows what they are doing and gives good feedback re: any questions.

My review comes with a bad experience turned immensely positive by the hard working staff at Champion Nishikigoi. I had spent a number of weeks debating on, and finally ordering a Showa upwards of 1k as the jewel of my collection. After purchasing the fish, I was notified that the fish was not in the pond and that it was possible that it was purchased in person earlier that day or that the listing had been updated without the initial listing having been removed. This was extremely disappointing to me. However, the team at Champion Koi personally reached out and the owner made recommendations for replacement. They provided me with a discount on the replacement fish, but more importantly, they actually listened to my concerns and my dismay at the experience. Champion Koi made real observable change as a response updating their website to include a warning about this very rare occurrence and making a guarantee of a 10% credit for anyone who would have a similar experience. It is extremely rare to find a business that cares enough to make actual change based on a customer experience and show that they actually care about their customers. They have certainly earned my business and they should definitely have yours!
