At Champion Nishikigoi, we’ve streamlined the order process for a smooth experience with koi fish, food, and pond equipment.
Koi Fish Orders:
After placing a koi fish order, we confirm availability and health, reserve your koi, and prepare it for pickup or shipping. If issues arise, we’ll reach out to discuss options.
Product Orders (Food & Equipment):
For supplies, we gather your items and notify you for pickup. If anything is out of stock, we’ll discuss alternatives.
Pickup & Shipping:
• Local Pickup: Available Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.
• Shipping: We offer expedited shipping for koi with health checks and tracking for safe arrival.

Refund Policy
Live Fish:
- Due to the delicate nature of our fish, we cannot accept returns. However, we are committed to ensuring you receive your fish alive.
- Please ensure you are present during delivery to accept and sign for your fish.
- If, unfortunately, your fish arrives deceased, notify us within one hour of delivery. Send a digital photo as proof to champkoi@champkoi.com, and we'll replace it with another of equal value.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Chemicals, medications, water conditioners, and pond liners cannot be returned due to safety and quality reasons.
General Merchandise Returns:
- If you're not completely satisfied, you may return items within 14 days, subject to a 15% restocking fee. Note: shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
- Items on sale or special deals, as well as special order items, cannot be returned.
- To ensure a smooth return:
- Items must be in unused, resellable condition.
- Original packaging, warranty books, manuals, parts, and accessories must be intact.
- For shipping, please encase the original packaging in another carton to prevent damage.
Return Process:
- Prior to returning any items, please obtain a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) by contacting us. Have your invoice ready for reference.
- After inspection, we'll confirm acceptance of the returned merchandise.
Return Shipping:
- Customers cover return freight costs. If we made an error or the item is defective, we'll handle the freight charges.
- For orders with free shipping, the actual outgoing freight charge will be borne by the customer.

PondMax AlgaeSTOP is an EPA-registered algaecide (Reg. No. 100963-1) for ponds, fountains and statuary. The active is a polymeric quaternary compound at 9.0% — not copper, which matters if you have plants or a history of copper accumulation in the pond.
What it controls
- Green water (Chlorella)
- Blue-green algae (Aphanizomenon)
- Black beard algae (Audouinella)
- String and hair algae (Cladophora)
- Blanketweed (Oedogonium)
Dosage — ponds
- 5 mL (1 tsp) per 100 gallons
- 1 fl oz (30 mL) per 600 gallons
- ¼ cup (60 mL) per 1,200 gallons · ½ cup (120 mL) per 2,400 gallons · 2 cups (480 mL) per 9,600 gallons
- Repeat every 3 days until the algae is controlled, then dose weekly to maintain.
Coverage: 8 oz treats 4,800 gal · 16 oz 9,600 gal · 32 oz 19,200 gal · 64 oz 38,400 gal · 1 gallon 76,800 gal.
Fountains: 0.5 mL per 10 gallons, or 1 fl oz per 600 gallons.
Aeration is not optional
From the EPA label: when algae is controlled and removed by the filter or settles to the bottom, the oxygen level may drop to harmful levels if adequate aeration is not provided. In warm weather pond water carries much less oxygen, so vigorous 24-hour aeration is required for the duration of the treatment. Do not shut pumps or aeration off at night while treating.
Warnings
- Not safe with freshwater crustaceans — shrimp and crayfish.
- Safe for ornamental fish, aquatic plants, pets and wildlife when used as directed.
- Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin. Causes moderate eye irritation.
- Water-polluting material — do not discharge treated water to storm drains or waterways.
