Tetra EasyStrips read six parameters in one dip: nitrate, nitrite, general hardness, total chlorine, KH and pH. Dip for a second, hold level, read at 60 seconds. That convenience is why strips get used weekly when liquid kits sit in the drawer.
Strips are the fast weekly screening tool: they catch trends and tell you when something moved. Two honest limits: there is no ammonia test on the strip, and the color bands are coarse. Before you dose the pond off a reading, confirm with a liquid reagent kit — and keep an ammonia test in the cabinet, because ammonia is the number that kills fish fastest and no 5- or 6-in-1 strip covers it.

Love this place and the staff! Fish are amazing, all sizes and prices. Fish healthy and water clear. Everything we have purchased from here has been free of any health issues and is doing well in our ponds. There is a fish for all price ranges as well and some uncommon goldfish. My review comes with a bad experience turned immensely positive by the hard working staff at Champion Nishikigoi. I had spent a number of weeks debating on, and finally ordering a Showa upwards of 1k as the jewel of my collection. After purchasing the fish, I was notified that the fish was not in the pond and that it was possible that it was purchased in person earlier that day or that the listing had been updated without the initial listing having been removed. This was extremely disappointing to me. However, the team at Champion Koi personally reached out and the owner made recommendations for replacement. They provided me with a discount on the replacement fish, but more importantly, they actually listened to my concerns and my dismay at the experience. Champion Koi made real observable change as a response updating their website to include a warning about this very rare occurrence and making a guarantee of a 10% credit for anyone who would have a similar experience. It is extremely rare to find a business that cares enough to make actual change based on a customer experience and show that they actually care about their customers. They have certainly earned my business and they should definitely have yours!
