After placing a koi fish order, we confirm availability and health, reserve your koi, and prepare it for pickup or shipping. If issues arise, we’ll reach out to discuss options.

Product Orders (Food & Equipment):

For supplies, we gather your items and notify you for pickup. If anything is out of stock, we’ll discuss alternatives.

Pickup & Shipping:

• Local Pickup: Available Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.

• Shipping: We offer expedited shipping for koi with health checks and tracking for safe arrival.

    Refund Policy

    Live Fish:

    • Due to the delicate nature of our fish, we cannot accept returns. However, we are committed to ensuring you receive your fish alive.
    • Please ensure you are present during delivery to accept and sign for your fish.
    • If, unfortunately, your fish arrives deceased, notify us within one hour of delivery. Send a digital photo as proof to champkoi@champkoi.com, and we'll replace it with another of equal value.

    Non-Returnable Items:

    • Chemicals, medications, water conditioners, and pond liners cannot be returned due to safety and quality reasons.

    General Merchandise Returns:

    • If you're not completely satisfied, you may return items within 14 days, subject to a 15% restocking fee. Note: shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
    • Items on sale or special deals, as well as special order items, cannot be returned.
    • To ensure a smooth return:
      • Items must be in unused, resellable condition.
      • Original packaging, warranty books, manuals, parts, and accessories must be intact.
      • For shipping, please encase the original packaging in another carton to prevent damage.

    Return Process:

    • Prior to returning any items, please obtain a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) by contacting us. Have your invoice ready for reference.
    • After inspection, we'll confirm acceptance of the returned merchandise.

    Return Shipping:

    • Customers cover return freight costs. If we made an error or the item is defective, we'll handle the freight charges.
    • For orders with free shipping, the actual outgoing freight charge will be borne by the customer.

    Replacement filter body O-ring for the Aqua Ultraviolet Ultima II bead filter. This is the large O-ring that seals the filter body to the base under the clamp assembly — the one that has to come off any time you open the vessel.

    This is an aftermarket part, and we would rather say so

    This is not a genuine Aqua Ultraviolet component and it is not sold as one. It is an unbranded equivalent that does the same job, which is why it costs a fraction of the factory part — Aqua UV's own A50055 lists at $139.90 and typically sells around $98.

    If you would rather have the genuine A50055, we can order it in. Some people want the factory part on a warranty-age filter and that is a perfectly reasonable call. For an out-of-warranty filter that needs a seal before the weekend, this is the sensible option.

    When to replace it

    • Water weeping or running from the seam between the filter body and the base.
    • The O-ring has flattened, hardened, cracked, or taken a permanent set so it no longer springs back.
    • As a matter of routine whenever you open the vessel for a media change — you are already there, and reusing a tired body seal is how you end up doing the job twice.

    Fitting notes

    • Clean the groove and both mating faces completely. Grit under an O-ring is the most common cause of a leak on a brand-new seal.
    • Seat it evenly the whole way round before you bring the clamp up.
    • Tighten the clamp gradually and evenly rather than pulling one side down first.
    • Silicone lubricant only, if you use anything. Petroleum grease attacks the rubber.

    Not sure it is the right seal?

    The Ultima II uses several different O-rings — body, valve cover, unions and drain cap — and they are easy to mix up. Send us a photo of your filter, or the measurement across the old ring, and we will confirm before you order. If what you actually need is the valve cover O-ring, that is a separate item in our store, available for both the 1-1/2" and 2" valves.
