At Champion Nishikigoi, we’ve streamlined the order process for a smooth experience with koi fish, food, and pond equipment.
Koi Fish Orders:
After placing a koi fish order, we confirm availability and health, reserve your koi, and prepare it for pickup or shipping. If issues arise, we’ll reach out to discuss options.
Product Orders (Food & Equipment):
For supplies, we gather your items and notify you for pickup. If anything is out of stock, we’ll discuss alternatives.
Pickup & Shipping:
• Local Pickup: Available Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.
• Shipping: We offer expedited shipping for koi with health checks and tracking for safe arrival.

Live Fish:
- Due to the delicate nature of our fish, we cannot accept returns. However, we are committed to ensuring you receive your fish alive.
- Please ensure you are present during delivery to accept and sign for your fish.
- If, unfortunately, your fish arrives deceased, notify us within one hour of delivery. Send a digital photo as proof to champkoi@champkoi.com, and we'll replace it with another of equal value.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Chemicals, medications, water conditioners, and pond liners cannot be returned due to safety and quality reasons.
General Merchandise Returns:
- If you're not completely satisfied, you may return items within 14 days, subject to a 15% restocking fee. Note: shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
- Items on sale or special deals, as well as special order items, cannot be returned.
- To ensure a smooth return:
- Items must be in unused, resellable condition.
- Original packaging, warranty books, manuals, parts, and accessories must be intact.
- For shipping, please encase the original packaging in another carton to prevent damage.
Return Process:
- Prior to returning any items, please obtain a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) by contacting us. Have your invoice ready for reference.
- After inspection, we'll confirm acceptance of the returned merchandise.
Return Shipping:
- Customers cover return freight costs. If we made an error or the item is defective, we'll handle the freight charges.
- For orders with free shipping, the actual outgoing freight charge will be borne by the customer.

Genuine Aqua Ultraviolet spider gasket, part A50024, for the 2" Ultima II multiport valve. Approximately 6-5/16" outside diameter, black.
What it does
The Ultima II valve has seven positions — Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Re-Circulate, Closed and Winter. This star-shaped gasket sits in a groove on the underside of the rotating key and its webs isolate each port from its neighbours. It is the single component that decides whether water goes where the handle says it should.
Symptoms of a failed spider gasket
- Water trickling or running out of the waste line while the valve is in Filter position. This is the classic one.
- Weak or ineffective backwash — flow short-circuits between ports instead of reversing through the bead bed.
- Leaking between ports, or the filter won't hold pressure.
- A handle that has become stiff or hard to turn.
- Visible flattening, hardening or cracking, or a gasket that has come unseated or unglued from the key.
Try this first — it may save you the part
Aqua UV's own manual lists debris lodged under the spider gasket as the first cause of waste-port leakage, and a gasket that simply isn't seated properly in its groove as the second. Before you order, take the valve cover off, rinse the trapped grit out and reseat the gasket. If the leak persists after that, or the rubber has clearly gone hard, it needs replacing.
Other sizes
- 1-1/2" valve, old style — part A50047.
- 1-1/2" valve, current style — part A50169, which is a gasket assembly supplied with shaft seals.
- 3" side-mount valve — part A50023.
We can order any of these in. Aqua UV does not always stock the 1-1/2" versions, so give us a call rather than guessing.
One thing worth knowing
The 2" key handle assembly (A50062) does not include a spider gasket, whereas the 1-1/2" assembly (A50061) does. If you are replacing a 2" key handle, order this gasket at the same time — otherwise you will have the filter apart twice.
