The Ikarashi Koi Farm was founded in Mushigame, Niigata, in 1962, by the late Kazuto (aka Sen’nin) Ikarashi. His gosanke (Kohaku, Sanke, and Showa) grows big and has been a regular champion winner at Koi shows. Mr. Toshinobu Ikarashi succeeded the legendary koi farm and has produced many beautiful Gosanke as well as new varieties called Ginrin Aragoke.
The farm is known for its large quantities of Tosai and offers a great selection of Nisai and Sansai. They have a unique combination of Benikikokuryu, Ochiba, Chagoi, G/R Asagi, Goshiki, Koromo, Kujaku, Hariwake, Yamabuki, and Kawarimono.
