    One pump, many stones

These multi-valve air manifolds split a single air pump across up to 12 outlets, each with its own needle valve — so one pump aerates the main pond, the quarantine tub and the biological filter chambers, with the flow to each stone individually tuned.

    Sizes

    • 6 valves
    • 8 valves
    • 12 valves

Fittings — this needs an adapter, so read before ordering

The manifold does not connect straight onto a pond air pump. Here's the geometry:

    • Pump-side inlet: 1/2".
    • Outlet valves: barbs for standard 3/16" airline — the same line our sphere air stones use, sold by the foot as Lee airline tubing.
    • Our Hakko and Alita linear air pumps have a 5/8" outlet (unthreaded by design — restricting a linear pump's airflow shortens its life, so neither brand threads the outlet).

The standard hookup: slip a short length of 5/8" or 3/4" ID flex vinyl tubing over the pump outlet (the Hakko ships with a rubber L-tube that takes a 3/4" barb), step down with a 3/4" × 1/2" barbed reducing coupling secured with two hose clamps, then run 1/2" ID tubing to the manifold inlet. Tell us which pump you're running when you order and we'll make sure the right reducer and tubing go in the box.

    A valve-tuning tip

Open every valve fully first, then close down the stones that are boiling too hard. Linear air pumps live longest with the least total restriction, so balance by opening the quiet lines rather than choking the loud ones.

    Why buy from ChampKoi?

ChampKoi has kept koi ponds breathing from our San Jose, California facility since 1998. One Hakko, one manifold and a reel of airline runs our entire quarantine row.
