• Purchase Now: Secure your koi by completing checkout online — once purchased, your koi is exclusively yours before it arrives at our facility.
• Quarantine Completion Date (QCD): The date your koi completes ChampKoi’s professional health screening and is cleared for pickup or shipment.
• ChampKoi Quarantine: All pre-arrival koi undergo careful acclimation, observation, and health checks to ensure peak condition before release.

• Pre-Arrival Purchase Window: Open during Japan’s Fall Harvest, when new koi are added regularly as we hand-select and purchase them during our buying trip.
• Arrival to ChampKoi: Incoming koi enter our controlled quarantine system upon arrival in the U.S.
• QCD: Listed on each koi’s product page.
• Pickup or Shipping: Available on or after the QCD.

• Combined Orders: Multiple koi with similar QCDs will be consolidated into one shipment for safety.
• Shipping Refunds: If combining orders lowers your shipping cost, we’ll automatically refund the difference.
• Shipping Methods: UPS Next Day Air® or Southwest Air Cargo — proven safe and reliable.
• Schedule: Shipments depart Tuesday–Thursday to ensure live arrival and optimal health.

• Pickup available Tue–Sun, 10 AM–6 PM, after your koi’s QCD.
• Bring your order confirmation; we’ll bag and oxygenate your koi on-site.
• Short-term holding after QCD available upon request.

Where can I find my koi’s QCD?
Each koi’s product page lists its Quarantine Completion Date. Pickup or shipping is available starting that date.

Can I request a later arrival date?
Yes — choose your Preferred Arrival Date (PAD) at checkout or contact us to adjust after ordering.

What if I purchase multiple pre-arrival koi?
We’ll consolidate shipments when possible and refund any shipping savings automatically.

Weather concerns?
We monitor shipping conditions daily. If a delay is needed for your koi’s safety, your Live Arrival Guarantee remains fully valid.
